License Agreement
The scope of the rights granted in the software, usage restrictions and the disclaimer of warranties.
Last updated: 23.08.2026
This License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is an offer by the Rights Holder setting out the terms on which the right to use the Rockstar software is granted. By installing, copying, launching or otherwise using the Software, the User confirms that they fully and unconditionally accept this Agreement. If the User disagrees with any of its terms, the Software may not be used.
1. Definitions
1.1. Rights Holder — the party holding the rights to the Software and granting the User the right to use it under this Agreement.
1.2. Software — the Rockstar software, including the client, loader, modules, updates, configurations and related data and materials.
1.3. User — a legally capable individual who has accepted this Agreement and uses the Software.
1.4. Account — the account on the Rights Holder's website through which access to the Software is provided.
1.5. Subscription — the period during which the User is granted the right to use the Software.
1.6. HWID — the set of hardware identifiers of the User's device to which the license may be bound.
1.7. Protection measures — the Software's internal mechanisms that enforce the license and defend it against analysis and tampering.
2. Subject of the Agreement and scope of the license
2.1. The Rights Holder grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-reproducible and revocable right to use the Software within its functionality.
2.2. This Agreement is not an assignment of exclusive rights and transfers no rights in the Software to the User. No copy of the Software is sold — only a right of use is granted.
2.3. The right of use is granted solely for personal, non-commercial purposes for the term of a paid Subscription.
2.4. Using the Software to provide services to third parties — including paid map completion, boosting and streaming that gives others access to the Software's features — requires the Rights Holder's separate written permission.
2.5. The right of use does not include any right to obtain source code, internal design documentation or technical information about the Software's protection.
3. Activation and device binding
3.1. The license is effective from activation of the Subscription until its term expires.
3.2. Access is provided through the Account and may be bound to the User's device (HWID). Using one license on several devices at the same time is not permitted.
3.3. Resetting the device binding is performed in the manner established by the Rights Holder and may be limited in number and frequency.
3.4. The license is verified at launch and during operation and requires a network connection. Loss of connection to the license server may make the Software unusable; such periods do not extend the Subscription term.
3.5. The Rights Holder may apply additional checks on the legitimacy of access, including limiting the number of device changes and temporarily blocking access where sharing is suspected.
4. User obligations
4.1. The User undertakes to use the Software in good faith and in accordance with this Agreement, the Terms of Use and applicable law.
4.2. The User undertakes to keep their Account credentials confidential and is responsible for all actions performed through their Account.
4.3. The User undertakes not to create conditions in which the Software becomes available to third parties, including handing over a device with an active session.
4.4. The User independently assesses and accepts the risks of using the Software in third-party games and services, including restrictions imposed by their administrators.
4.5. The User undertakes to notify the Rights Holder promptly of any known unlawful use or distribution of the Software.
5. Usage restrictions
5.1. Reproducing, distributing, publishing, selling, renting, transferring or otherwise providing third parties with access to the Software is prohibited.
5.2. Decompiling, disassembling, debugging, memory dumping, unpacking, patching and modifying the Software, and extracting its source code, keys and algorithms, are prohibited.
5.3. Circumventing, disabling, substituting or studying the protection measures is prohibited, as is emulating the license server and intercepting or substituting the data exchange between the Software and the server.
5.4. Submitting the Software, its files, dumps or logs to automated analysis systems is prohibited, including neural-network services, cloud reverse-engineering platforms and mass-scanning services.
5.5. Creating derivative products based on the Software, and using the Software for actions infringing third-party rights or the law, are prohibited.
5.6. Breach of this section terminates the license immediately with no refund, whether or not the breach produced any result.
6. Technical protection measures
6.1. The User is informed of, and agrees to, the Software containing protection measures that enforce lawful use of the license and record tampering attempts.
6.2. Upon detecting prohibited actions, the protection measures compile and send the Rights Holder a technical report: the event type, information about the third-party process or module, the time of the event, the Account identifier and the HWID.
6.3. The protection measures operate within the boundaries of the Software's process. They do not damage, delete or encrypt the User's data, do not alter system settings or the bootloader, do not affect hardware and do not persist in the system after the Software exits.
6.4. The protection measures do not collect personal files, private messages or credentials for third-party services.
6.5. The Rights Holder may change the composition and operating principles of the protection measures without prior notice. Details of how they work are not disclosed.
6.6. Data obtained by the protection measures is used solely to protect the Software, decide on access and investigate incidents.
7. Intellectual property
7.1. The Software, its components, interfaces, design elements, marks and other intellectual property belong to the Rights Holder and are protected by law.
7.2. Nothing in this Agreement may be construed as transferring to the User any intellectual property rights other than the right of use expressly granted.
7.3. Configurations and presets created by the User with the Software may be used by them freely, provided they contain no Software files, keys or license data.
7.4. Use of the project's marks and visual identity in the User's own materials is permitted only for fair reference to the product and must not suggest official representation.
8. Updates and changes to functionality
8.1. The Rights Holder may release updates, change the composition and functionality of the Software and suspend it for maintenance.
8.2. Individual features may be added, changed, limited or discontinued without prior notice, including as a result of game updates and changes in third-party services.
8.3. Updates may be installed automatically. Use of outdated versions may be blocked.
8.4. A change in the set of features is not improper performance and creates no right to a refund, provided the Software remains operable overall.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
9.1. The Software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
9.2. The Rights Holder does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with any hardware, operating system, game build or third-party software, or that the User will achieve any particular result.
9.3. The Rights Holder does not warrant that the Software will remain undetected by third-party protection systems and is not responsible for measures applied to the User by the administrators of third-party games and services.
9.4. The User decides to use the Software independently and at their own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
10.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Rights Holder is not liable for direct or indirect damage, lost profit, data loss, downtime or other losses arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
10.2. The Rights Holder's aggregate liability is in any event limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the current Subscription period.
10.3. The Rights Holder is not liable for the consequences of the User's actions that breach this Agreement, the Terms of Use or the rules of third-party services.
10.4. The Rights Holder is not liable for failures of third-party services, communication networks, payment systems and marketplaces.
11. Suspension and revocation of the license
11.1. The Rights Holder may suspend or terminate the license if the User breaches this Agreement or the Terms of Use.
11.2. The Rights Holder may revoke the license at its own discretion, where it considers this necessary, without prior notice and without stating a reason. How such decisions and any compensation are handled is set out in the Terms of Use.
11.3. Upon termination of the license the User must stop using the Software and delete all copies of it.
11.4. Funds paid are not refundable where the license is terminated in connection with a breach.
11.5. Termination does not affect the provisions of this Agreement that by their nature survive it: intellectual property, restrictions, liability and confidentiality.
12. User data
12.1. Use of the Software involves processing the User's data (Account identifier, email address, hardware identifiers, launch events and protection-measure events) to the extent necessary to perform this Agreement.
12.2. The categories of data, the purposes and periods of processing and the User's rights are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of the parties' relationship.
13. Final provisions
13.1. The Rights Holder may unilaterally amend this Agreement. The current revision is published on the website and takes effect upon publication.
13.2. Continued use of the Software after the terms change constitutes the User's acceptance of the new revision.
13.3. The invalidity of any single provision does not render the remaining provisions invalid.
13.4. The law of the Rights Holder's location applies. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing agreement, in the manner prescribed by law.
